Employment Opportunity

Alapocas Collaborative Care is now hiring for two employment opportunities:

A part-time or full-time clinical position for a fully licensed outpatient mental health therapist who is looking for a collaborative and team oriented private practice.

OR

A full-time opportunity for therapist (associate license welcome!) who is looking for a full-time position that includes 20hrs of intake coordination and 15hrs of outpatient individual/family therapy.

We are a collaborative mental health private practice with a warm and welcoming office in Wilmington, DE. We have one open position for an intake coordinator that would include part-time outpatient mental health therapy to see children, adolescents, and families.

The ideal candidate is someone who is excited to grow clinically, collaborate closely with peers and find a work-home balance that values your well-being and professional goals. If you have your associate license, we would provide in-house quality supervision and support as you pursue your LCSW or LCPMH in the state of Delaware.

Joining our team requires dedication to personal and professional growth and we will give back to our clinicians through individual and group consultation on a variety of clinical skills, as well as consultation on medication management with our prescribers.

Our interview process includes peer to peer meetings, so you have a chance to hear about the practice from other clinicians who work here.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Screen requests for appointments and call/email to place clients with a prescriber or therapist who would be a good fit.

  • Provide intake, therapy and/or testing services to assigned caseload of clients. Therapy services may include case management, individual and/or family therapy, marital/couples counseling and group services based on therapist and practice goals.

  • Complete appropriate documentation of all clinical/group activities electronically according to quality standards.

  • Participate in practice meetings, individual and group clinical consultation. Provide consultation with colleagues in areas of expertise as requested.

  • Participate in and meet all ethical standards regarding treatment, documentation, and confidentiality.

  • Follow practice policy and procedures including emergency procedures.

  • Maintain chart documentation using EHR according to regulatory and payer requirements.

  • Ensure that all required paperwork is completed to standards prior to inspections by payer or regulatory agencies.

  • Ability to work with diverse populations with critical and emergency situations.

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling, or a Doctoral degree.

  • Licensure in the state of Delaware.

  • Strong administrative/organizational skills for the intake coordination position.

Experience or interest in one or more of the following specialties:

  • DBT groups.

  • Attachment focused family therapy.

  • PCIT.

  • Attachment focused couples therapy.

  • EMDR.

  • Art therapy.

  • Experience in outpatient mental health therapy.

Benefits:

  • Licensed Clinical Supervision and support provided by seasoned clinicians, including a prescriber.

  • Growth opportunity within a well-respected and sought out private practice.

  • Great location and beautiful office with responsive and professional admin support.

  • Generous W2 fee for service structure with competitive compensation. Additional pay for administrative time, meetings, self-care monthly group and consultation bi-weekly.
