About the Event

During this past year, we have been navigating a challenging and unpredictable world which has led to increased stress and anxiety. The Polyvagal Theory developed by Dr. Porges and adapted for therapy by Deb Dana, LCSW introduces us to the language of our nervous system so we can identify how stress and anxiety show up for us and what we can do to lessen their impact. The purpose of this six week group is to help us practice tuning into our body’s messages in order to navigate day to day with greater resilience, flexibility, and control. Each of the 90 minute long sessions will be a combination of discussion, lecture, and hands on experience drawn from the work of Deb Dana, LCSW.

Leading this group is, Stacey Balentine, LCSW, an outpatient therapist and one of the founders of Alapocas Collaborative Care. Stacey has an interest in the connection between brain and body, neurobiology, and is a native Delawarean and mom of two.

90 minutes: Six week group: $45.00 per group or $270.00 total
