Finding the words for the complexities of your feelings and experiences can be hard, but with creative self-expression, you can find your voice. I’m a board-certified licensed art therapist in Delaware, and a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania. Initially trained as an artist/illustrator, I came to recognize the power of artmaking in reshaping one’s life stories. This led me to pursue art therapy as a career, to share the healing power of art with others in a safe, nurturing way that encourages healing and personal growth.

With over a decade of experience in art therapy and traditional talk therapy, I have developed an eclectic approach, and am able to tailor the therapy experience to best suit your needs as an individual, whether through talk therapy or art therapy.

Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that combines artmaking with traditional psychotherapy, allowing for non-verbal communication and new ways to problem-solve and explore. No prior art experience or skills are needed, and all ages can benefit from this approach. Just be ready with an open mind and curiosity to learn more about yourself!

My therapeutic approach draws from modalities such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, psychodynamic, motivational interviewing, client-centered, narrative therapy and others. My background includes experience in community mental health, outpatient, forensic, inpatient, partial care, and community arts non-profit settings working with people of all ages and walks of life. I would be honored to walk alongside you in your therapy journey.
