Tina Cubeta is an Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner whose career in mental health began in 1999 after graduating from University of Delaware. She quickly realized mental health was her passion and obtained her advanced degree at the University of Maryland. During the first ten years of her career, she worked primarily in the Psych ER, but floated to an inpatient unit for general psych, a dual diagnosis detox unit and a day hospital program at the main campus of Johns Hopkins Hospital. She began teaching various clinicals for local universities including University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins University, Stevenson University and a community college. Since her return to Delaware, she has practiced community mental health treating complicated and severe mental illness with a particular interest in Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, Major Depression disorders and Complex PTSD.  In addition, for the last five years she has also been one of the providers across the state for Delaware Correctional System. In her spare time you will find her with a coffee in her hand outside, at the gym, or with family and friends.
